World Wide Security Enters into Authorized Dealer Program with RF Technologies
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) January 02, 2014 -- Kenneth Mara, President and CEO of World Wide Security Group, announced the company has entered into a partnership with Wisconsin-based RF Technologies® for Wi-Fi based panic systems for the hospitality industry. The Help Alert® Wireless Staff Duress Solution is available to hotels and their staff through World Wide Security. “Providing emergency response solutions for at-risk populations is something our company has been focused on for sometime,” stated Kenneth Mara, President and CEO of World Wide Security.
“We have chosen to partner with World Wide Security because of their deep understanding of the security market and their ability to deliver solutions that drive significant and measurable customer outcomes, said Rich Hewitt, director of Help Alert sales and marketing. “We’re excited about helping the hospitality industry keep their staff members safe.”
Help Alert uses discreet mobile panic buttons, or pendants, as a proactive, cost-effective solution to protect staff, When pressed, pendants broadcast a silent alarm that can be configured to alert security teams, first responders, or local police through a computer or mobile device. Software shows the location of the panic alarm, even if a mobile pendant is on the move, so security teams know where to respond and can implement security measures.
The system utilizes an existing Wi-Fi infrastructure, which means no wires, power cables, or new construction work is needed for installation. World Wide has begun installations of the system in New York City hotels. “The Help Alert system is very easy to use and there are wonderful features built in to assist hotel security directors,” explain Seth Barcus, Director of Managed Services.
New York City hotel workers will use the devices to summon help if hotel staff encounters any dangers in a guest’s room. “The system is a very cost-effective way to keep hotel staff safe and works as a time management tool. The features loaded on this system will be a big benefit on the safety and management front,” stated Barcus.
World Wide Security specializes in providing personal emergency systems to vulnerable populations that are often targets of crime or need possible emergency assistance. Help Alert is a commercial application for staff security concerns in a hotel setting. Other products suited for medical alert and personal protection are available through World Wide’s company Life Button 24.
