Cole Sims of Greer, South Carolina completed the business transaction on January 6, 2014, taking solo ownership after two-and-a-half years with former partner John Landolfi. Pat Swisher, President and CEO of Enviro-Master and considered to be the founder of the Hygiene Industry, mentored Mr. Sims, who held positions in sales and training for nearly two years at the company’s headquarters in Charlotte prior to purchasing his own franchise.
“I was ready to break out on my own,” commented Cole Sims and said, “Helping to develop the Charlotte market gave me the confidence to be my own boss, and this has been the best career decision I’ve ever made.” Sims explained that his franchise has grown quickly, with more than 300 customers and is profitable. He attributes some of his success to building a great team, including his service manager Tommy Black, who has twice been nominated as “service manager of the year.” Sims remarked that he enjoys building customer relationships. “One of my biggest customers is the city in which I live,” he added. “I wish John (Landolfi) all the best as he explores new business opportunities,” said Sims.
Cole Sims was born in Buffalo, New York and attended Castleton University in Vermont, where he earned a BS in Sports Management. Prior to his tenure with Enviro-Master, Sims spent four years as a sales and account manager with Toshiba. Sims is married with three children and enjoys life in the fast-growing Greenville area.
