Beauty Schools of America Sends Students to Art Deco Weekend Fashion Show
Miami, FL (PRWEB) January 17, 2014 -- Beauty Schools of America® (BSA), one of South Florida’s most sought after institutions for students pursuing a professional career in the Beauty and Spa Industry, has partnered with the Miami Design Preservation League (MDPL). BSA is now set to participate in the Art Deco Weekend Fashion Show on January 18th, 2014.
This will mark the fourth straight year that the Art Deco Weekend Fashion Show will take place on Miami Beach. This year, Irish Chase, MDPL’s resident artist, worked with Bettie Page clothing designers to select the best 1930s and ‘40s Bettie Page creations to be displayed during the show. All of the models, who are delegates of the Miss USA and Miss Teen USA pageants, will have their hair and makeup prepared by Beauty Schools of America® instructors and students in some classic 1930s and ‘40s looks.
“The Art Deco Weekend Fashion Show has become one of Miami Beach’s most exciting events over the last four years,” stated Jeff Gonzales, Chief Operating Officer at BSA. “Our students are really excited to work with the models and bring the 1930’s to 2014.”
