International Modeling and Talent Association (IMTA) Announces Models of the Year
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) January 30, 2014 -- IMTA began 2014 with some amazing modeling and talent industry highlights. Fashion and commercial agents from around the world were at IMTA to network, scout, interview and most importantly to discover new faces. Talent agents, managers and casting directors were also in attendance to find actors, singers, songwriters and dancers to represent.
IMTA Alum Nicholas Williams welcomed the Contestants to Overview saying, "IMTA has truly changed my life. It's given me the confidence and self-esteem that I thought I could never have. And it put me on the path I was meant to be on. I know it is going to do the same thing for each and every one of you. Let it happen." Susan Koziak of Koziak Productions staged a gorgeous L.A. style Fashion Show sponsored by Macy's and makeup by Stila Cosmetics with Dani Davis' team hair stylists. IMTA debuted Improvisation, a brand-new talent competition that was a tremendous hit with the Contestants and judges alike. The new Agent and Director Brunch saw the announcement of the IMTA scholarship winners with thousands of dollars in scholarships presented from the New York Film Academy, Clair Sinnett from Actors Working, The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts, Debra-Lynn Findon of Discover, Inc. and Adam Hill. 11 year old singing sensation Skylar Stecker, another IMTA Alum, performed her outstanding cover of Bruno Mars' hit "Treasure" during the IMTA Awards Dance Party.
Callbacks were a major success for the models, actors, singers, songwriters, and dancers who met with the agents, managers, casting directors and industry VIP’s who were interested in representing them. Awards Night featured the announcement of the Models of the Year, Actors of the Year and more. Marty Shannon and Chase Butters of @Moorpark Studios will fully produce a single for the Songwriter's Scholarship Winner Julia Lelis from Seattle Talent, Seattle, WA. Eve Matheson (on behalf of Carl Dunn and Pageantry Magazine) selected Reiley Jones from Nikki Pederson Talent, The Woodlands/College Station/Bryan, TX as Miss IMTA. She will participate in a special photoshoot for Pageantry Magazine.
