Copy Print Services was founded in 2006 by John Hynes.

Based in Bolton, Lancashire the Olivetti copier specialists sell, maintain and refurbish most kinds of copying machinery from their well equipped unit located in Farnworth, just a few miles from Bolton town centre.

The majority of the Bolton based copier dealer’s customers are based in the North West of England with many trading in Bolton.

The Olivetti dealers prefer to operate locally to ensure engineers (when called upon) can arrive at a customer’s business premises promptly.

However, the Manchester photocopier suppliers also trade nationally (via their website) where consumables, accessories, Olivetti copiers, Samsung photocopiers and Konica Minolta multi function machines are all featured.

The Lancashire based Olivetti copier dealers employ a team of twelve dedicated staff which includes four expertly trained specialist engineers.

As well as Copy Print offering a wide range products for sale they also provide maintenance packages, refurbished machines and photocopiers for lease or hire.

The Bolton firm hold the prestigious ‘Best for Color’ award.

Olivetti only award selected Olivetti retailers with ‘Best for Color’ if the business can prove that their engineers have passed advanced technical service training courses organised by the Italian copier manufacturer.

John employed local web design and SEO specialists Vizcom Design to re-design the site and optimise it.

Vizcom have worked with John and his team for a few years now and had designed and built the previous website back in 2009 using the E Commerce platform Zen Cart.

John Hynes explained “The old design served us well but was beginning to show its age. I wanted the new version to be more personal as unlike many other businesses in this industry we are service led. I wanted Vizcom to make the site more appealing and get the message across that we are reliable, trustworthy and professional”.

“The original website was much more product focused and was aimed at boosting our online sales. As our business has grown we’ve found that maintaining and leasing copiers is much more enjoyable (and profitable) than simply just selling consumables. We don’t employ commission driven sales people and prefer to build long lasting relationships by being the very best at what we do” said John.

“After our initial meeting it was clear to me that John’s business had changed from when we first met in 2008. We discussed what he wanted to do and decided to create a site which was much more visually appealing and reassured the website visitor that Copy Print Services are a company to trust” explained Daniel Robinson, M.D. of Vizcom Design.

Daniel added “Our approach has changed since we first began designing and building E Commerce sites. There is much more focus on layout, simplicity and functionality”.

The new site is built using Wordpress which allows much more freedom for graphic design than the previous platform Zen Cart.

Products are displayed and available to buy online using an ‘add-on’ called Shopp.

“The site still has the ability to sell online. We have added a call back form for visitors who aren’t sure what they need or who would prefer to speak to an adviser. A sliding banner which displays various ‘sales messages’ features prominently on the home page. The banner is there to convince the visitor, in those first few vital seconds that Copy Print know what they are doing and aren’t just another company selling online” explained Daniel.

The banner feature displays messages, graphics and links to various pages within the site.

“Shortly after the new site went ‘live’ we started to receive more calls. I believe this is because the new site looks better and is proving that the Search Engine Optimisation is working. We are now second for the search term Olivetti toners and fifth for photocopier leasing. I’m convinced that the site will bring yet more enquiries” said Mr. Hynes.
