The San Francisco Bay Area created Vietnamese chè chain, Bambu Desserts & Drinks, announces the grand opening of its newest shoppe in Texas this week. “The love and demand for Bambu chè continues to expand across the Houston Metro Area,” said Kelly Nguyen, co-founder and CEO of Bambu Desserts & Drinks, Inc. “We are so happy that Texans of all ages have found our chè to be true enjoyment in a cup.”

Bambu - Fountains at the Lake, located at 12578 Fountain Lake Circle in Stafford, will launch its grand opening week at 9:00 AM Thursday, February 6th. Special dessert and drink promotions will continue through Thursday, February 13th. “I learned about Bambu from many friends and local Bambu owners,” said Tom Hoang, managing co-owner of Bambu at the Fountains. “I want the people in the Sugar Land area to be able to enjoy all the delicious desserts and smoothies Bambu offers without having to drive 20 minutes.”

Bambu at the Fountains, located slightly behind Kim Son Restaurant, is surrounded with many popular shopping, food and entertainment establishments. This mainstream market is sure to fall in love with Bambu’s expansive coffee, tea and dessert drinks menu. With nearly 100 items to select from, Bambu customers of all ages can find something that is a perfect fit for their tastes.
“The Hoang brothers are doing something similar to what my sisters and I did when we opened our first Bambu,” continued Kelly Nguyen. “They have opened a family-owned desserts and drinks business that they can be proud to invite and share with their community while building their own family legacy.”

Bambu Desserts & Drinks was founded in 2008 by four sisters in San Jose, California. With 33 new shops opening in the past 19 months, Bambu has become nationally known for its healthy and colorful Vietnamese-inspired chè, and fresh coconut drinks, Vietnamese espressos, blended coffees, and exotic smoothies. Their unique, but flexible menu of coffees, teas and drinks allows you to order any item “just the way you love it” including extra jellies, pearls, or shots of espresso.
