The Haven provides a place where women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer can go for a free program of in-depth support that's been designed to improve their quality of life. Specialist nurses and experts in nutrition, yoga, exercise and emotional support provide tailor-made programs for each person that comes through their doors.
“We are so pleased to support the Haven as part of our Anahata Practice Guide,” says Trantina. “They offer such an essential place of healing and support for women and their families.”
Since they first opened in London, England in 2000, the Haven has helped over 10,000 people living with breast cancer, along with their families.
A $500 donation will go towards supporting women at the Haven with specialty programs such as counseling, acupuncture and more. Want to get involved? $17 a month for one year could provide three hours of specialist counseling for one visitor—invaluable for anyone finding it difficult to cope with their diagnosis. $80 a month for one year could buy a year's supply of acupuncture needles for all of the Haven's locations. $165 a month for one year will enable a visitor to complete an individual program of care at The Haven.
