Company to feature the new enclosure design at HIMMS14, Booth 3610

Archelon Enclosures, a leading manufacturer of iPad® and tablet enclosures for the retail, hospitality and healthcare industries, has announced that it will introduce the new iPad Air solution to the healthcare industry at HIMSS14, the HIMSS Annual Conference and Convention from February 23rd through 27th at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

HIMSS, the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, is a cause-based enterprise that produces health IT education, events, market research and media services worldwide, including their annual conference. Solution providers gather at the convention each year to find new and innovative ways to improve the healthcare landscape.

Archelon’s new iPad Air enclosure is custom-designed to fit the tablet’s 9.7-inch display and 7.5-millimeter width. The new enclosure employs security and mobility, allowing healthcare professionals to expand the scope of their operations, yet keep patient information safe and secure.

The enclosure includes a lock and key frame that keeps the tablet secure but accessible as needed. Its tri-axial swivel allows movement in multiple planes: up-and-down, side-to-side, as well as landscape and portrait views.
