Wellness Works LLC Announces New Gluten-free, Soy-free, Additive-free Homemade Condiments and Sauces Cooking Class with Northern Virginia Certified Health Coach
Bristow, VA (PRWEB) February 21, 2014 -- Digestive Health Specialist Amy Butchko is offering a new cooking class this March called Gluten-free, Soy-free, Additive-free Homemade Condiments and Sauces.
Amy Butchko will share her inspiration and training for how to create tasty, healthy homemade versions of familiar condiments like ketchup, mustard and mayonnaise that are additive-free and have gut-healthy probiotic cultures.
"If you're like me and you have a child who eats absolutely everything with ketchup, this is the right class for you. Supermarket ketchup is loaded with sugar and other ingredients that guarantee long shelf life...which is not the same set of ingredients that are good for growing children. My version tastes great, has no additives, and it contains probiotic cultures known to nourish the digestive tract," Amy said.
The March 9 class will also include a section on "special sauces" which add flavor and pizazz to meals. Participants will learn to make delicious sauces like tartar, remoulade, and aioli that bring out the flavor of every dish from basic oven-roasted chicken to tacos.
"Sauces are a great solution for adding variety to any menu," Amy added. "I use sauces for flavor and to add an extra nutritional boost to meats and veggies."
