Best Concessions, Airports Awards Announced at 2014 Airport Revenue News (ARN) Conference & Exhibition
Orlando, FL (PRWEB) March 06, 2014 -- The winners of ARN’s Best Airports and Concessions awards were announced Tuesday during the ARN 2014 Revenue Conference & Exhibition.
Concessionaire winners were announced during an awards ceremony Tuesday afternoon; airport winners were named at another awards ceremony Tuesday evening.
“The ARN awards program celebrates the achievements of the many exceptional airports and companies driving innovation within airport concessions,” says David Broderick, executive director and publisher of Airport Revenue News. “All of the nominees, finalists, and winners should feel really proud, and the awards shows were a fantastic end to an amazing conference.”
Also honored during the programing were the Airport Directors of the Year: the Port of Oakland’s Aviation Director, Deborah Ale Flint, for the small/medium airport category and Houston Aviation Director Mario C. Diaz for the large airport category.
And for the first time, ARN named a Property Manager of the Year: a tie between Walt Froman from the Port of Portland and Randy Goodman from the Houston Airport System.
The conference, at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate in Orlando, Fla., drew more than 850 attendees. The annual event brings together industry professionals for networking, exhibition, and education sessions.
