Opera Software and Discretix Partner to Bring a Full OTT HD Video Experience to Connected TVs

The integrated Opera - Discretix solution utilizes HTML5 to dramatically reduce the effort needed to support services across multiple home entertainment devices. The Opera Devices Software Development Kit (SDK) and Opera TV browser bring the full web-browsing experience to connected TVs. The solution enables OEMs to build HTML5 and CE-HTML rendering, together with adaptive streaming and HbbTV capabilities, into their devices.
Discretix Content Protection portfolio includes the latest version of Microsoft® PlayReady® DRM and HDCP 2 link protection.
