Boston, MA (PRWEB) March 21, 2014 -- Ticket Down announces that they have slashed ticket prices for Jason Aldean's concert in Mansfield, MA at the Xfinity Center (Comcast Center) on Friday, July 11th.
One of the top country performers of this generation is the 37-year-old native of Macon, Georgia, Jason Aldean. This beloved country favorite started out in the country music business in 2005 and has quickly ascended up the ranks of the country hierarchy. With his trademarked cowboy hat, Aldean has belted out some of the catchiest tunes in music and is one of the most sought after performers for venues and has some of the most sought after tickets for his live shows. One of the 2014 shows that fans around the country will want to ensure they get their hands on tickets for is the July 11th show at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts.
The Xfinity Center is owned and operated by Live Nation and originally opened in June 1986. The venue is consistently considered one of the best venues in the country for a live show and was named the top-grossing amphitheatre of the decade in the United States by Billboard magazine. The venue can seat approximately 19,000 fans including about 7,000 seats that are covered, 7,000 more are open-air seats and the rest are general admission lawn seats. The venue has been the home of countless elite performers since opening including Aerosmith, James Taylor, Lil Wayne, Korn, Rush, Phish, Pearl Jam and The Fray.
Aldean got his first big commercial success with the single “Hicktown.” The song was his debut single and reached the No. 10 spot on the Billboard country singles charts. Later in 2005, he released “Why,” which became his first country No. 1 single and his second straight certified gold track from the Recording Industry Association of America. Over the next three years, Aldean would release several other singles but it wasn’t until “She’s Country” did he really begin to pick up steam with the fans. Aldean would then go on to release several other No. 1 country singles including, “Big Green Tractor,” “The Truth,” “Don’t You Wanna Stay,” featuring Kelly Clarkson, “Fly Over States,” and “Take a Little Ride.”
All of Aldean’s single success equated to success with his albums, as all five of his releases have been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America for selling more than a million copies. His best-selling album was his 2010 release, My Kinda Party, which has sold close to three million copies in the U.S. His last album, Night Train, came out in 2012 and opened the Billboard 200 charts as the No. 1 album in the country.
