"Save America Gathering" and "One Church // One Voice" Call for Special Prayers for the Victims and Families of Lost Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370
Martinez, CA (PRWEB) March 26, 2014 -- The organizers of "555 Days of Prayer to Save America" are asking the participants in that prayer initiative to add special prayer for the victims of the lost airliner, Flight MH370. "Save America Gathering," and its parent organization, "One Church // One Voice," are also asking for the prayers of Christians and Messianic Jews, worldwide, in support of those who have suffered loss, in this tragedy. This includes the personnel searching for the aircraft and all those people around the world who have had their hopes dashed and their hearts torn by this mysterious event, which has, somehow, thwarted the sophisticated technology of the 21st century world.
"The Lord sent the Holy Spirit to be a comforter. Now, through our prayers, we are showing our love for our fellowman. We are to let the Holy Spirit work, through us. We must be the comforter, so the world will see Jesus, reflected in us. Jesus taught the story of "The Good Samaritan" for a reason. We are to be concerned, regarding one another, if we are following the will of God," said organization spokesman, Robert Berry.
The "555 Days of Prayer to Save America" prayer event is at day number 387, and the current 100-day long prayer segment, a prayer for the purification and restoration of The Church, is at day 32. Ultimately, participants in the prayer initiative are praying because God, Himself, said, in the 2nd Book of Chronicles, Chapter 7, verse 14: "if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." "555 Days of Prayer to Save America" is a process of humbling oneself, praying, and seeking God's face; for the purpose of the divine spiritual healing of the United States of America. If we call ourselves God's people, we must be obedient to His Word. "Let us pray!"
The 555-day-long prayer will end on September 11, 2014, with "The Great Wave Offering," which will revolve around themes from the celebration of the delivery of God's Law to Moses and the Jewish people, Shavuot. It is the symbolic rededication of The United States of America to the principles of God. Participants will begin the day with dawn Shofar calls and readings of Psalm 119, This will be accompanied by the waving of loaves and wheat stalks, along with the United States Flag, The United States Christian Flag, The Christian Flag, The Kingdom of God Flag, and, for Jewish participants, the Israeli Star of David Flag. At noon, there will be Shofar calls, the reading of Psalm 119, waving of loaves and flags, and a feast, featuring foods from Deuteronomy 8:8: "a land of wheat and barley, of vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive oil and honey;" At sunset, there will be Shofar calls, the reading of Psalm 119, the waving of the loaves, stalks and flags, and a prayer of Thanksgiving, closed by final Shofar calls. We hope brothers and sisters will gather or celebrate within their families, worldwide, using their respective nation's national flags and rededicating their countries to God.
There is a recipe contest for dishes for the noon feast, that feature one of the seven blessed fruits of the earth. The recipe categories are wheat, barley, grapes/raisins/grape juice, figs, pomegranates, olives/olive oil, and honey. Submit recipes to the contact email associated with this press release. The recipe contest will end July 4, 2014. The winner in each category will have the recipe published, in a future press release, and will win an author and illustrator signed copy of "Ephus and the Praying Bushel," by Robert P. Berry.
