Christy Sadler of Willowmere Capital Partners Headlines Ivy Family Office Greenwich Forum
Greenwich, CT (PRWEB) April 22, 2014 -- The Ivy Family Office Network hosted its April 2014 Family Office Outlook Forum in Greenwich, CT on April 10th. Christy Sadler, Managing Partner of Willowmere Capital Partners, led a panel discussion on “Non Correlated Investment Strategies”.
Sadler commented, “Willowmere Capital believes there is opportunity for alpha generation in lower middle market companies that are proprietary in nature and not sourced through investment bank auctions. Furthermore, we have specialized in industries like building products where we have unique relationships with operating executives and deep industry knowledge. “
“Many family offices are unhappy with the high fee structure and lack of visibility of investing in blind pools of capital. We offer deal-by-deal discretion to family offices, at a much lower cost of entry and with full transparency on the individual investments.”
Other speakers on the panel included William Klein of Hanseatic Capital Partners, Mark Kaufman of MLK Investment Management & Consulting & Monel Amin of ArtHance.
Mr. Sadler is the Managing Partner and founder of Willowmere Capital Partners LLC. He has spent over 20 years in the private equity industry. Prior to forming Willowmere Capital, Mr. Sadler was the Managing Director in charge of a private equity vehicle for an $800 million hedge fund. Mr. Sadler began his career at General Electric where job assignments included Large Motors and Generators, GE Broadcasting and Cablevision and Corporate Treasury. He spent five years in the Mergers and Acquisitions Department of KPMG Peat Marwick.
