Community Health Center of Central Missouri Receives MFH Health Grant
Jefferson City, MO (PRWEB) May 01, 2014 -- Community Health Center of Central Missouri has been awarded a grant from the Missouri Foundation for Health (MFH). The funding, totaling $450,000, will be applied over the next four years through the Missouri Foundation of Oral Health utilizing partnerships to increase oral health access grant.
This funding will provide the opportunity to expand access of oral health services to the underserved and uninsured populations in Central Missouri through a united partnership with the Cole, Linn, Moniteau and Callaway health departments. The objectives of this project will be to increase the oral health touch points/oral health homes in Central Missouri, while working towards eliminating geographic and economic barriers to accessing oral healthcare, and to create an expanded sustainable oral health service system that improves the overall oral healthcare of the underserved population in Central Missouri.
