Eastman Park Micrographics (EPM) Obtains Temporary Restraining Order against Kodak Alaris Inc
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) May 14, 2014 -- As part of its continued focus and investment in this market, EPM recently announced the formation and implementation of its own field service organization. Availability of this new service is timed with the termination of EPM’s field service provider agreement with Kodak Alaris.
In order to protect its customer relationships, EPM filed a lawsuit, Eastman Park Micrographics, Inc. v. Kodak Alaris Inc., Index No. 14-5444, New York State Supreme Court, Monroe County, New York (filed May 12, 2014), alleging that Kodak Alaris has breached its obligations to EPM by improperly soliciting business from EPM’s micrographics service customers and misappropriating EPM’s confidential and proprietary information. On May 13, 2014, the New York State Supreme Court, Monroe County, New York, issued an “Order to Show Cause with Temporary Restraining Order,” which provides that Kodak Alaris, directly or indirectly, “is hereby enjoined from soliciting customers of EPM in any manner.” The temporary restraining order is effective immediately.
This action with Kodak Alaris will have no impact on EPM’s ability to provide uninterrupted service to its customers.
