B.B. King Bringing the Blues for Sold Out Show at Cypress Bayou May 24
Charenton, LA (PRWEB) May 16, 2014 -- Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Guitarist, B.B. King, is headed to South Louisiana on May 24th and will bring his string bending style to the stage in the Pavilion at Cypress Bayou Casino Hotel for a sold out show.
“B.B. King is considered one of the Top 10 Guitarists of all time. There is a reason he is known as the ‘King of Blues’ and our guests are going to get to see yet another living legend on our stage. We knew people would be excited about this show and the response to be in the room with his talent has been tremendous,” said Anthony Patrone, CEO and General Manger of Cypress Bayou Casino Hotel.
B.B. King has one of the world's most identifiable guitar styles, combining vocal-like string bends and his left hand vibrato. King has mixed blues, jazz, swing and mainstream pop into a unique sound. King has recorded more than 60 studio albums and will always be known for the popular hits “Lucille” and “The Thrill is Gone.”
"I'm trying to get people to see that we are our brother's keeper, I still work on it. Red, white, black, brown, yellow, rich, poor, we all have the blues,” said King. "From my own experience, I would say to all people but maybe to young people especially black, white or whatever color, follow your own feelings and trust them; find out what you want to do and do it and then practice it every day of your life and keep becoming what you are despite any hardships and obstacles you meet."
The astounding one night performance on May 24th begins at 8pm, doors open at 7pm.
