Announcement: BluesGuitar.com releases “Blues Scale Patterns - Blues Guitar Lesson”
(PRWEB) May 18, 2014 -- “When you learn your scales it’s important that you learn and practice them in different positions all over the neck,” says Darville. Jacques demonstrates the version of the blues scale that he is teaching as follows; 5th fret of the 6th string with first finger to 8th fret with 4th finger, 5th fret of the 5th string with first finger to the 6th fret with 2nd finger (this is the blue note) to 7th fret with 3rd finger, 5th fret of the 4th string with first finger to 7th fret with 3rd finger, 5th fret of the 3rd string with first finger to 7th fret with 3rd finger to 8th fret with 4th finger (this is the blue note), 5th fret of the 2nd string with first finger to 8th fret with 4th finger and 5th fret of the first string with first finger to 8th fret with 4th finger.
“This is just one form out of many,” says Darville. Jacques demonstrates another version of this scale as follows; 5th fret of the 6th string with 4th finger, 3rd fret of the 5th string with 2nd finger to 5th fret with 4th finger, first fret of the 4th string with first finger to 2nd fret with 2nd finger to 5th fret with 4th finger, 2nd fret of the 3rd string with first finger to 5th fret with 4th finger, 3rd fret of the 2nd string with first finger to 4th fret with 2nd finger and 3rd fret of the first string with first finger to 5th fret with 3rd finger. Jacques says that it’s really easy to hook these two patterns together. Guitar TAB’s are available for this blues guitar lesson at BluesGuitar.com.
