Author & Radio Personality Jim Paris Signs with Genesis Communications
Palm Coast, Florida (PRWEB) May 30, 2014 -- James “Jim” Paris announced today that he has signed an agreement with Genesis Communications Network for a new Sunday night live broadcast. The program, "Jim Paris Live," will be broadcast live on Sunday evenings from 8 pm to 10 pm Eastern. Paris has hosted multiple radio shows over the years, and received his nationwide broadcasting start in the late 1980's when he became the substitute host for financial guru Charles J. Given's national radio program. In addition to his own daily national show on USA Radio Network, Paris was also a frequent substitute host for the network's flagship show "Point Of View" with Marlin Maddoux. The name Jim Paris will also be remembered by listeners of the iconic Sun Radio Network (during which Paris broadcast alongside such names as Sonny Bloch and Chuck Harder in the late 1980's).
While Paris' broadcast roots are in radio, he is no stranger to TV. During the late 1980's, he got his start in TV with his own live segment on Orlando's CBS affiliate. Working with legendary broadcast anchor Glenn Rinker, Paris was responsible for a live financial segment weekly during the 10 pm newscast. Later, Paris would syndicate his own national TV talk show.
As a financial commentator, Jim Paris has appeared thousands of times on both radio and TV. He has been a guest financial commentator on Pat Robertson's "The 700 Club" more than 25 times. He has also appeared for more than six years as a financial contributor to Moody Radio Chicago's "The Morning Ride" program, and recently appeared on "Coast To Coast AM" with George Noory, as well as on Noory's "Beyond Belief" television show.
Said Paris from his Palm Coast, Florida office on Thursday: “I have been broadcasting over the Internet in recent years, but have wanted to get back to terrestrial radio. Genesis Communications was my first choice and it was a natural fit - I already listen to several programs on the network and feel that my voice will be a complement to their already-fantastic line up. I love the niche that GCN fills, and I am excited to add my name to their roster.”
Paris is the author of more than thirty books, a second degree black belt and instructor in Taekwondo, an avid sailor, as well as an accomplished jazz trumpeter. As a writer, Paris has explored a variety of issues that are of interest to the concerned American, both through his authored books as well as in his capacity as editor-in-chief of his monthly newsletter, "The James L. Paris Report." In his latest book, Paris considers the possibility of the Federal Reserve's involvement in the Kennedy assassination, and in another book released in 2013, Paris exposed a worldwide Ponzi scheme that had bilked the faith community out of more than $100 million dollars.
