Partners of Hope Program to Expand Ministry at Forever Changed International
Guatemala City, Guatemala (PRWEB) June 09, 2014 -- Forever Changed International (FCI) is excited to announce the Partners of Hope program. Partners of Hope is a program through which people who have worked with FCI in Guatemala City can continue to help the ministry grow. Partners of Hope will help FCI expand the number of volunteers who come to the aid of some of the most needy people in Guatemala, and increase the sponsorship level for the children at Dorie’s Promise Guatemala. It will also give the Partners of Hope team member a platform for encouraging others to begin caring for the poor.
Becoming a Partner of Hope is a three-step process. A mission trip to Dorie’s Promise Guatemala is the first requirement, during which individuals or teams are encouraged to serve the children there, as well as go out into the community to serve. After completing this step, the potential Partner of Hope must sponsor a child, as well as getting five others to sponsor children at Dorie’s Promise Guatemala. The final requirement is to bring 20 new people to serve on mission trips to Guatemala City. FCI stresses that there is no time limit on this requirement. Potential Partners of Hope can take as long as necessary.
“We are incredibly excited about Partners of Hope,” says Heather Radu, President and Founder of Forever Changed International. “When people come to Guatemala, they fall in love with the places and people—especially our children! They want to keep helping and stay connected even though they have to go home. And they want to point others to a ministry that genuinely wants to help those in need. Partners of Hope fills that role very well. Our children will be blessed by it, the people of Guatemala City will be blessed by it, and there will be tremendous benefits for the Partners as well.”
Partners of Hope do in fact receive a number of benefits through the program. One major benefit is that mission trip fees will be waived for members of the program—if the trip was scheduled through FCI. Members will also receive a bio on the Partners of Hope page on Forever Changed International’s website, as well as receiving a Partners of Hope polo shirt.
Another very important benefit is that Forever Changed International will recommend members to groups who are looking for speakers on the topics of missions and orphan care. This would open up opportunities for members who wish to direct people’s attention to FCI, Dorie’s Promise, or any poverty issue. The Partners of Hope member will also have the opportunity to represent FCI at official events, becoming a more integral part of the ministry.
To get involved in the Partners of Hope program, an individual must e-mail Forever Changed International.
