Cherokee CRC Awarded Contract by Washington Headquarters Services
Tulsa, Okla. (PRWEB) June 05, 2014 -- Cherokee CRC, a division of Cherokee Nation Businesses, is one of five companies chosen to perform work on a 5-year contract for remodeling and renovations at several facilities managed by the Washington Headquarters Services (WHS).
The multi-disciplined construction project has the potential to produce $60 million in revenue for the tribal enterprise throughout the duration of the contract.

Cherokee CRC is providing new construction for commercial and industrial buildings, as well as the restoration and modernization of existing facilities and current infrastructure. Additional work includes renovation and installation of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, as well as energy management controls to provide turnkey construction solutions.
WHS is the essential services provider for the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Department of Defense agencies, and offices in the National Capital Region. The organization provides a wide range of centralized capabilities to deliver essential administrative services.

The contract specifies work at numerous government facilities, including the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia and Pennsylvania. However, the majority of the work will be performed at the Pentagon Reservation, located in Arlington, Virginia.
