Wi-Tronix®, LLC Announces Contract with Watco Companies, Expanding Wi-Tronix Product Implementation
Bolingbrook, Ill (PRWEB) June 11, 2014 -- Wi-Tronix®, LLC has signed a contract further expanding deployments with Watco Companies, LLC (Watco), a Kansas-based transportation company. Wi-Tronix will provide remote locomotive monitoring and Software as a Service (SaaS) hosted solutions. The Wi-Tronix system offers Watco a variety of products that monitor on-board subsystem(s) and train handling performance.
Under the contract, Watco can utilize Wi-Tronix’s products and services to access real-time business critical data on its fleet. The Wi-Tronix suite of mobile asset management tools, proven integration experience, and customer service has fully integrated Watco’s locomotives with their business systems.
Watco has improved fleet productivity and reduced fuel costs through daily locomotive utilization reporting. Wi Tronix provides Watco with real-time information such as low fuel, overspeed, and excessive idle events. In addition, Watco will be able to remotely access and download on-board event recorder data from locomotives using the Wi-DownloadER™.
