Britannica Names Jason Pinter Chief Financial Officer; Chicago Technology Financial Executive Succeeds Veteran CFO
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) June 18, 2014 -- Encyclopaedia Britannica® today announced that it has appointed Jason Pinter chief financial officer.
Pinter succeeds Richard Anderson, who is retiring after nearly twenty years in the position.
Pinter began his career with Arthur Andersen and later held positions with Kraft Foods and Orbitz Worldwide. He was most recently vice president, finance and administration, with Ifbyphone, Inc. in Chicago. He is a seasoned financial executive whose varied experience includes software services, e-commerce, consumer products and professional-services organizations. His familiarity with a broad range of digital businesses is expected to be an asset to Britannica, whose consumer and educational business units are concentrated online and in the mobile space.

Pinter holds an undergraduate degree in business from Indiana University and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
