Society for New Communications Research Announces Call for Entries for 9th Annual Excellence in New Communications Awards

Prestigious Awards Honor Excellence in the Use of Digital, Social and Mobile Technologies to Positively Impact Business, Culture and Society

Today, the Society for New Communications Research (http://SNCR.org), a global nonprofit research and education foundation, think tank, and public service organization focused on new and emerging communications tools and technologies, announced a call for entries for its 9th Annual Excellence in New Communications Awards.

These prestigious awards honor the work of corporations, governmental and nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, media organizations and individuals who are innovating the use of digital and social media, mobile media, collaborative technologies and other ICT to improve business, culture and society.

Awards are granted in six divisions: Academic, Corporate, Government, Media, Nonprofit/NGO, and Technology Innovation, and six categories: Social Marketing / External Communications & Communities, Internal Social / Internal Online Communities, Online Video, Mobile Apps, Social Data Projects, and Innovation: Best New Digital & Social Technologies (Vendor Category).

Entrants are asked to submit case studies detailing their initiatives and technologies. The winning case studies will be published on SNCR.org, and the winners will be announced in the Fall of 2014.

Entry fees: $125. USD per entry. A portion of each entry fee is tax-deductible, and all proceeds benefit SNCR, a 501c3 foundation.
