Call for companies for EuropaBio 5th most innovative awards and for the Entente Life Sciences Investment Forum
Brussels, Belgium (PRWEB UK) 25 June 2014 -- The partners of the ENTENTE-project together with the European Commission and EuropaBio would like to announce the EuropaBio’s 5th Most Innovative European Biotech SME Award and the ENTENTE Life Sciences Investment Forum, taking place during the 2014 European Biotech Week (http://www.e-unlimited.com/mci.aspx?mci_id=13911&mc_sent_id=547103) in Brussels . These events will be especially dedicated to strengthening the life sciences innovation potential in Europe through promoting and empowering innovative SMEs seeking financial facilitations and international exposure.
8 October: EuropaBio’s 5th Most Innovative European Biotech SME Award
This year, EuropaBio will be hosting its 5th annual Most Innovative Biotech SME Award. The event will include presentations from the European Commission and the European Investment Bank on the most recent European financial facilitations for innovative SMEs. This year’s award will be presented by European Commission Director General for Enterprise and Industry, Daniel Calleja-Crespo.

9 October: ENTENTE- Life Sciences Investment Forum
The event will unite 28 European early stage innovative companies active in the Life Sciences sector and seeking investment opportunities and international exposure. The selected companies will pitch their innovation, developments and needs in front of an international jury consisting of about 40 business angels, venture capitalists, corporate investors and other industry experts. Representatives of DSM Venturing, GlaxoSmithKline, Omnes Capital, Sofimac Partners, Sunstone Capital, Wellington Partners have – among others – already confirmed their participation as jury members.
Throughout the day participants will have the opportunity to assist to inspiring panel discussions from key players of the industry and to innovative companies presentations, and have plenty of networking opportunities including targeted one2one meetings.
