Jason Calacanis To Keynote Pubcon Las Vegas 2014 Conference
Austin, TX (PRWEB) June 30, 2014 -- Pubcon, the search marketing event of the year, is happy to announce that noted Internet entrepreneur Jason Calacanis, chief executive and founder of Inside.com and longtime angel investor, will be presenting a major keynote address during Pubcon Las Vegas 2014 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in the entertainment capital of the world.
Calacanis is an well-known angel investor and has hosted the popular podcast “This Week in Startups” since 2009. After three years of hosting TechCrunch50, he founded LAUNCH Media, which publishes the LAUNCH Ticker and produces a number of events including the annual LAUNCH Festival in San Francisco, featuring more than 50 technology firm start-ups. Previous LAUNCH graduates include Mint, Dropbox, Yammer, Fitbit and Room 77.

Calacanis maintained editorial supervision over Weblogs, Inc. as a senior vice president at AOL, and six months into his tenure he was offered a chance to be the general manager of the new Netscape website.
Before forming Weblogs, Inc., Calacanis was chief executive, founder, and editor of the infamous monthly news website Silicon Alley Reporter, which chronicled New York’s Internet and new media industries before eventually being sold to Dow Jones.
