SR Education Group Launches GradReports Loan Repayment Grant
Kirkland, WA (PRWEB) July 09, 2014 -- SR Education Group, an online education publisher based in Kirkland, Washington, announced today the start of a new grant program to help graduates repay student loan debt. The grant contest is being held on http://www.gradreports.com which is a website focused on facilitating the conversation between graduates and future students. Unlike traditional scholarships, the GradReports Loan Repayment Grant offers $2,000 for individuals who have already graduated from a college or university.
As of June 2013, over 28 million Americans have accumulated more than a trillion dollars in student debt. Most students graduate with an average of $26,000 in debt. Borrowing money for school pays off for some, but many graduates end up struggling to repay their students loans. Some have trouble finding work and come to regret their decisions about what to study and where. With this new grant, GradReports not only wants to provide some much needed support to those dealing with the burdens of student loan debt, but also strives to use school reviews to help future students make better decisions.
GradReports believes that there is no better resource for prospective students than the experience of recent graduates. Therefore, Gradreports.com specializes in collecting reviews of colleges and universities in order to help prospective students make better informed decisions about higher education. The reviews collect information like starting salary, whether or not graduates would recommend the school, and whether their degrees helped their careers.
“At GradReports, our slogan is ‘Results Matter’ because we want to focus on outcome-based results like employability and starting salary” says Sung Rhee, CEO of SR Education Group. “A college education is extremely important but many graduates are drowning in debt for years after. We’re just doing our part to help alleviate some of that debt by offering this Loan Repayment Grant.”
To enter to win the $2,000 Loan Repayment Grant contest, graduates just need to go to http://www.gradreports.com and fill out a review. The applicant is then encouraged to share the contest for up to 9 additional entries to the grant. The winner will be randomly selected from all of the entries received each quarter.
