Wi-Tronix, LLC Commences Contract with Co-Operative Bulk Handling (CBH), Australia, for Locomotive Remote Monitoring
BOLINGBROOK, Ill. (PRWEB) July 14, 2014 -- Wi-Tronix®, LLC has signed a contract with Co-Operative Bulk Handling (CBH), a leading Australian grain logistics co-operative, to provide locomotive remote monitoring and hosting services. The Wi-Tronix array of mobile asset management tools, proven integration experience and customer service has integrated with CBH assets in Australia, employing state-of-the-art technology.
The Wi-Tronix system provides CBH with a suite of tools that allow ready access to on-board data. With the contract, CBH will utilize Wi-Tronix’s products and services to remotely access real-time data of its fleet. CBH can maximize fuel efficiency and asset utilization through fuel conservation monitoring and improved fleet productivity. In addition, CBH will be able to wirelessly access and download on-board data from locomotives using the Wi-Downloader™.
All of the above allow for overall improved energy management and lead to cost reduction and improved performance throughout the CBH network. CBH uses the system’s real-time alerts for fuel levels, asset locations, and train arrivals and departures. Wi-Tronix provides CBH tools to monitor asset health for low fuel, emergency brake and excessive idle events detection.
