The World Alliance for Retail Excellence & Standards Selects JobOn as Exclusive Partner in a Multi-year Agreement
Lanham, MD (PRWEB) July 15, 2014 -- The World Alliance for Retail Excellence & Standards today announced the launch of TheRetailRecruiter.org - a new online and mobile service that allows retail job applicants to submit a video interview to potential employers demonstrating how their personality and enthusiasm makes them the best fit for a job.
Based on a platform developed by Maryland-based JobOn, the leader in video enabled job application technology, The Retail Recruiter makes applicant screening much quicker and more efficient – as much as 75 percent faster than the traditional job application process.
While other services offer job posting and video application services, none are backed by the retail industry’s leading trade organization. The World Alliance for Retail Excellence & Standards, formerly The National Association for Merchandising Services, is a non-profit trade association that launched its initial jobs platform (TheRecruiter) in 2002 to connect job seekers and recruiters.
