Taylor Morrison Announces Pricing for Its First Houston 55+ Community
Houston, Texas (PRWEB) July 22, 2014 -- Taylor Morrison has announced pricing for its debut 55+ community in Houston.
Bonterra at Woodforest, set to debut Aug. 2 in north Houston, will offer three new collections of homes.
Three collections of homes will be available at Bonterra at Woodforest – the 45-foot Landmark series, the 52-foot Summit series and the 62-foot Pinnacle series, the largest homes available at Bonterra.
Pricing for the Landmark series will start in the $230,000s while the Summit series will begin in the $260,000s. The largest series of homes at Bonterra, the Pinnacle series, will start from the $320,000s.
“Each collection offers its own unique take on the community,” said Jim Ellison, vice president of sales and marketing for Taylor Morrison’s Houston division. “But the common thread running through all of them is the fact that we listened to what homebuyers want in their next home.”
Ellison said Bonterra is focused on more than just homes – it’s about an all-around lifestyle.
“There will be something for everyone,” Ellison said.
Indeed, Bonterra will offer plenty of activities for residents, with the community’s proposed clubhouse serving as the hub for these activities.
Taylor Morrison is planning an approximate 10,000-square-foot clubhouse that is proposed to offer a ballroom with flexible meeting rooms; a demonstration kitchen; a movement room for aerobics, yoga, Zumba and Pilates; a massage room, large covered veranda and resort-style pool.
Bonterra residents can expect proposed activities like walking and running clubs, an adventure club that will focus on hiking, camping and mountain biking, a road cycling club, garden club, book club, singles club and more.
“More and more homebuyers are telling us that their next community needs to fit their active lifestyles,” Ellison said, pointing to the inclusion of fitness programs, cardio kickboxing, boot camps and wellness seminars as just a few examples. “We’re gearing up for our active residents by getting a head start on our activities.”
Future sports programs are also in the works, with residents being able to choose from bocce ball, pickleball, tennis, community leagues and golf at Woodforest Golf Club.
With a stunning pool planned for the clubhouse, Bonterra at Woodforest is already sketching out the future aquatics program, which is planned to include water aerobics, water 100 challenges, master swim, poolside concerts and private swimming lessons.
