(PRWEB) July 30, 2014 -- When one thinks of a Los Angeles contemporary art gallery, the words nurturing and supportive may not be the first that come to mind. That is unless you are thinking of the rapidly growing Linus Galleries which embodies both of those traits among other characteristics not typically associated with a gallery exhibiting a high caliber of artwork.
Linus Galleries, which was created by fine art photographer Linnea Lenkus in 2011, has as much of an online presence as they do physically with their exhibitions if not more. The gallery exhibits two new online shows a month all drawn from very different and often very unique themes to tie in artists all over the country. Their recent exhibition Vulnerability vs. Strength featured artists all over the world from US cities such as Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York and stretching to countries such as Canada and Slovakia.
“Everyone that works at the gallery is passionate about art, you have to be,” the gallery curator explained. “I am not just showcasing incredible artwork but I have cultivated an environment that strives to educate artists on how to work with galleries and to push their creativity with our diverse call for entries.”
The art gallery prides itself on being extremely friendly to work with and giving opportunity to all artists. They continually promote their artists and art in general through social media and blogs. Their online and live exhibitions showcase pieces from artists with all different types of backgrounds but with one thing in common: extraordinary technique.
