Easy Backyard Water Play Idea Has Been Released On Kids Activities Blog
Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) August 08, 2014 -- Kids love to play with water. An easy backyard water play idea and fun road trip activities have been released on Kids Activities Blog. Take water play in the backyard to a whole new level this summer.
A water wall will keep the little ones busy for hours. One does not have to go to the store to buy the materials to build the wonderful contraption.
Materials needed can be found inside and around the house. Begin by looking for a flat wall. An old bench, a side of an already standing play house, a wooden fence, or even a sheet of plywood or lattice will work. The surface has to hold staples from a staple gun or twist ties.
Then collect a variety of containers and hoses that hold water such as milk cartons, shampoo bottles, yoghurt pots, old pool hoses or even vacuum cleaner hoses. Use scissors to cut the containers to create funnel shaped bodies.
Simply line up the containers vertically on the side of the wall. Use a staple gun or twist ties to attach the variety of containers. Recycle the water by placing a large bin underneath the contraption. Also provide the kids with a variety of scoops and cups to pour water in on the top.
Long car rides with preschoolers are stressful. Keep the backseat happy and mess free by providing the kids with lacing cards, magnetic peg dolls, travel tangrams, and fun I Spy bags.
Pretend play is always fun in the car. Give the kids a set of sandwich shop materials and a button snake that turns into a great motor skills development activity.
Let the kids play bingo, story builder, or a memory game on the back seat. A travel Lego bag is fun for the Lego loving kids.
