Namboori, one of the main sponsors, addressing the gathering, said, “Be totally focused on your goals and never lose the plot. Hurdles will crop up now and then, but that should not affect your spirit of enterprise. They are, in fact, de rigueur for every startup.”
Also speaking at the occasion was Jason Kramer, an owner of an online marketing services provider in San Mateo. Kramer said, “The key to any successful enterprise is to be able to learn quickly from your mistakes quickly. It is never possible for any business to foresee the future. It is not possible for any business plan to be a sure-fire success when it is initially formulated.”
There will be an exchange of good practices by the leaders of IT companies. They will share their experiences with the participants, all of them youth and aged 25 to 32.
The aim of the seminar is to develop entrepreneurial mindsets and help participants understand business environment. The organizers will also help the starters in learning how to evaluate themselves, their business ideas, besides encouraging them to zero in on their specific strengths.
In addition, the old hands will provide inputs to participants on what potential investors look for when they invest in new businesses. Later, they will hone the presentation skills of these fledgling entrepreneurs in order that they attract these investors to put money into their businesses.
