New Vail Mountain Golfing Getaway Package from Antlers at Vail Hotel Includes Golf with Altitude on Arnold Palmer Course
Vail, CO (PRWEB) August 20, 2014 -- Balls that fly 10 percent farther, an Arnold Palmer Signature Designed course that’s Audubon certified as wildlife-friendly – and a good night’s sleep: Antlers at Vail hotel’s 2014 Stay-and-Play package combines the best of Vail golfing with a relaxing guest experience. Grab a golfing partner and enjoy a round of golf at Eagle Ranch Golf Club and a night in one of the Antlers’ spacious suites on rushing Gore Creek (dubbed the “ultimate Vail hotel sleep machine” by America’s Best Summer Job-winner Benjamin Solomon), starting at $109.50 per person (double occupancy) through early November.
“With spectacular views, courses designed by golfing greats and those extra-long high-altitude drives, Vail knows how to make every golfer feel like a pro,” says Antlers at Vail GM Rob LeVine. “But we think the Antlers’ brand of personalized service and spacious comfortable suites with full kitchens elevate the experience, if you’ll forgive the pun.”
Situated in Brush Creek Valley, Eagle Ranch Golf Club’s course includes an interesting variety of mountain and links-style holes as well as open rolling fairways, undulating fast-playing greens, scenic – and treacherous – water, and strategically placed bunkers – all in an Arnold Palmer-designed layout at an elevation of 6,600 feet. Built on the site of a historic ranch, the club has incorporated antique ranching implements into the course, which also has maintained its environmentally-friendly designation as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary for more than a decade.
The Antlers 2014 Stay and Play Package includes one night lodging Sunday through Thursday in a one-bedroom condo (with comfortable living room fold-out sofa second bed) and a round of golf at Eagle Ranch for two people starting at $219; Friday or Saturday rates start at $249. The package is available through the close of Eagle Ranch’s golf season, typically in early November, though check in advance regarding possible greens aeration for late September visits. Upgraded condos are available and the package is subject to availability.
