Acer today announced the new Veriton N4630G series mini commercial desktops for businesses and educational institutions in the United States. The two new models provide tight security and practical manageability in a robust one-liter chassis.
The Veriton N4630G nettops are ideal for organizations looking to conserve space, cost and energy. The new models include the Veriton N4630G-i54570X with an Intel® Core™ i5-4570T processor (4M cache, up to 3.60Ghz) available for an estimated selling price of $619 and the Veriton N4630G-i34150X with an Intel® Core™ i3-4150T processor (3MB cache, 3.0GHz) offered for an estimated selling price of $549.
These mini desktops are suitable for most workplace tasks at a lower cost than a fully equipped PC. In addition, the energy efficiency is similar to thin clients, making them a good fit for those who want to keep their traditional desktops and knowledge workers who don’t require the power of a standard PC.

The new mini desktops can be mounted on a desk via the retractable stand or attached to the back of a display with a VESA mounting system. The VESA mount provides vertical adjustment, so users can access the power button and memory card reader from the top of the display.

The new Acer Veriton N4630G Series models feature a high-quality 100 percent solid capacitor mainboard design to prolong system life. They also offer plenty of power for efficient multitasking, word processing, spreadsheets, email and web searches with fast processors, 4GB DDR3 SDRAM (expandable to 16GB) and 500GB(2) 2.5-inch 5400RPM hard drives.
Ample connectivity is provided with two USB 3.0 ports, three USB 2.0 ports, VGA and DisplayPort™. In addition, an SD card reader is provided for reading cards from digital devices such as smart phones and digital cameras.
