Boston, MA (PRWEB) September 03, 2014 -- As a part of Servcorp’s charity initiatives, the company held Sail Away with Servcorp, a casual cocktail reception on July 23, 2014, at The University of Massachusetts Club, a member of the ClubCorp family. All proceeds were donated to charity. Servcorp, a leader in the Executive Suites and Virtual Office Industry and ClubCorp have an alliance that offers clients from both organizations significant benefits.
At the event, the Servcorp Crew acted as dueling bartenders for a trio of popular charities. The charities included MSPCA, a non-profit organization which protects the safety and general well-being of animals, the Alzheimer’s Association, an association focused on the diagnosis and treatment of Alzheimer’s disease, and Dress for Success, which provides professional attire and a network of support to disadvantaged women interested in improving their lives.
“We appreciate everyone who made this event a possibility,” said Jennifer Goodwyn, Vice President at Servcorp USA. “Servcorp is dedicated to giving back to the community in any way possible, which is only possible due to the generosity of our team, our clients, and members of the general public.”
Hosted at The University of Massachusetts Club, a premier venue for private events and social networking, Sail Away with Servcorp was a success. With over 50 attendees and a Silent Auction hosted by Valerie McSorley of Avant Garde Events, the event raised $500 for the charities.
