Start Skydiving’s 7th Annual “Work Stinks! Boogie” Is This Weekend
Middletown, OH (PRWEB) August 29, 2014 -- The Work Stinks Boogie is a skydiving festival held at the Start Skydiving Dropzone at 1711 Runway Dr., Middletown, OH 45042. This year it is called “Sarah’s Work Stinks! Boogie”, in remembrance of a recently departed employee, Sarah Rhoads. Events include world class organizers, rocking live entertainment, and of course skydiving! Saturday’s events include skydiving all day long, the Team Fastrax™ pyrotechnic aerial display, and the Selection.com® fireworks show, which you’ll not soon forget. They are limiting the skydiving participants to 500 this year to manage the event and ensure the safety of patrons. The fireworks and live music is open to the general public for a $5.00 donation. The proceeds this year will go to the Team Jacob Foundation and the Sgt. James Robinson Memorial Scholarship.
John Hart, owner of Start Skydiving, and founder of Team Fastrax™, said “We are thrilled to be hosting our boogie again this year. It’s the most exciting time of year for us and we can't wait to give the community of Middletown a fireworks show celebration that will blow out the end of summer. Of course, this year we are also honoring our beloved employee Sarah Rhoads, whose tragic death rocked us all. She was such an amazing, outgoing, and fun young lady, and we all miss her very much."
Gear representatives will be on location providing demo equipment available to those who are looking to try out some new stuff.
There will be dedicated FREE camping area that has a bonfire pit for your enjoyment. They also have 20 RV hookups for the event ($100 for the event). The hookups are on a first come basis, so reserve them early through their online store. There is a $25.00 camper permit fee for all campers not using electric. Also available for use, will be bringing in an eight-bay shower trailer to complement our three showers already at the DZ.
