Announcement: GuitarControl.com releases “Lead Guitar Lesson on Pentatonic Scale”
(PRWEB) September 11, 2014 -- Claude starts off this easy beginner lead guitar lesson in the key of A and says that the notes that make up the scale are A, C, D, E and G. “Rather than thinking of the scale as this pattern or that pattern," says Johnson. "Lets just think about the notes." Claude demonstrates this concept by finding the five notes at various places on the fretboard and explaining how the shapes are the same at various places. Claude continues by playing various shapes and sequences all over the fretboard and across all the strings so anyone can easily see how to do this. Claude says that although you are playing the scale sequence in a different place that the techniques of using hammer-on and pull-off’s, slides, bending and vibrato to create melodies are the same and that anyone should try playing these licks in different places and keys across the neck to get different ideas. The Pentatonic Scale is a musical scale with five notes per octave. They can be found all over the world and are the main scale used in the Blues genre.
