Greenberg Traurig’s Jeffrey S. Tenen Discusses Aircraft Leasing at 2014 ALTA Aviation Law Americas Conference

Tenen, a shareholder in the Global Aircraft & Equipment Finance and Leasing Practice at the Miami office of international law firm Greenberg Traurig, served as part of a panel discussion at the eighth Latin America and Caribbean Air Transport Association (ALTA) Aviation Law Americas conference. The conference was held Sept. 3-5 in Miami Beach, Fla.
ALTA Aviation Law Americas brings together key legal representatives from the commercial aviation sector in Latin America and the Caribbean to discuss current challenges faced by the industry such as critical regulatory issues, financing trends and evolving standards facing the aviation sector.
Tenen’s panel focused on aircraft financing and leasing, including sources of alternative financing for Latin American airlines as well as issues arising with redelivery of aircraft at the lease expiration.
