Playtime (+) Promotes Learning through Play with Imagination Playground
(PRWEB) October 03, 2014 -- This Preschool and Daycare works hard to create an opportunity for parents to have a fun and educational place that assists in caring for their children, understanding that parents often need caregivers beyond 9am-5pm - they are there to help. Director Robin Woldtvedt, first witnessed the magic of Imagination Playground Big Blue Blocks in Tulsa Oklahoma, where she was told to visit http://www.imaginationplayground.com and discovered the Vote for Play Program.
Robin explained, “We believe and promote learning through play, children learn better when they are having fun. Knowing that play develops social skills, collaboration and problem solving we knew we had to find a way to bring the big blocks to our children.” Robin and her team worked hard at gaining the support of their parents and their community. With 1,925 votes and 222 participants – many voting daily, Robin stated, “Our success was through our email campaigns, reminding folks to vote and posting reminders on Facebook. We are just thrilled that they supported us and helped us win with this amazing award.”
“Our customers continue to tell us that the VOTE for Play Program is important – 17,372 votes were cast for over 900 schools and organizations from August 22nd through Oct 1st, that’s a pretty clear message and we want to help.” says Dave Krishock, President of Imagination Playground. Krishock concluded by saying, “We love helping schools and organizations help children learn and grow – we know we are transforming children’s lives through the promotion of self-directed free play. And we’re happy to be offering yet another opportunity to award an Imagination Playground; all you have to do is VOTE for Play.”
Imagination Playground continues to have an overwhelming response and will be extending the program for another voting period. From October 3rd through November 12th, schools and organizations will have another chance to cast their votes to be awarded an Imagination Playground and Play Associate Training. The awardee will be announced on November 14th. Act now to cast a vote for your local school or organization, just visit
