At the event, company founder, Dr. Charles Butler, will give investors and select media a “sneak peek” into the future of the company and phase two of development of the groundbreaking telemedicine app.
The brand and app gained international attention when VideoMedicine ambassadors, Jason and Moon Ray, became overnight “tech celebrities” for promoting the app by camping out in front of the New York City Apple store for 19 days prior to the launch of the iPhone 6. VideoMedicine is a HIPAA compliant telemedicine app that allows patients to connect with a medical specialists using an innovative face-to-face video chat app. Patients can speak with physicians and psychologists to get advice, learn about treatments/diagnoses and in some instances even get a prescription. The patient can send relevant notes and high-resolution photos to the doctor, as well as make appointments from the comfort of their own home using a mobile device. The app differs from competitors in that it allows patients to select their own doctor from a network, provides access to world-renowned medical specialists and features a flexible, minute-by-minute billing system (patent pending) that even allows a consulting doctor to comp time for a patient.

About Dr. Charles Butler
Charles is the creator and founder of Video Medicine, a telemedicine mobile app designed to deliver healthcare efficiently, effectively and economically to patients no matter how remote they may be from a specialist. Charles received his Doctor of Medicine Degree from the New York University School of Medicine, he is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and completed his residency in internal medicine at Rush University in Chicago, Illinois. In addition to being a passionate physician, he is also a successful entrepreneur and has founded several profitable businesses including Ultimate Skate (sports video production) and Charles Collection (fine jewelry and loose diamond sales). Before entering college, Charles was an Olympic athlete and competed in the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympic Games in ice dancing. He and his partner, Jessica Joseph, traveled the world as members of Team USA and became the first American ice dancing team to win the gold medal in the World Junior Championships. Since his Olympian days, Charles participates in Olympic sponsored projects via the Special Olympics and Ronald McDonald House. His passion for charity extends past athletics and he has made it possible for doctors to donate free time to their patients via Video Medicine’s Billing Reconciliation system (patent pending).
