Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) October 15, 2014
Fall means back-to-school for many Americans. Football games and harvest festivals. Autumn leaves and sweater weather. For security professionals, fall is also the season of the industry’s biggest conferences, beginning with the recent ASIS Annual Seminar & Exhibits. Andrews International (AI), a Los Angeles-based national security company, has representatives traveling to many of this fall’s upcoming events.
In October, D.C. Page, senior vice president of AI’s Consulting and Investigations (C&I) division, is presenting at the ICC FraudNet’s Conference on Fraud, Asset Recovery & Cross-Border Cooperation. Held in Bangkok, Thailand this year from October 16 to 18, the conference brings together the world’s foremost experts on asset tracing and recovery to explore emerging challenges and strategic solutions for mitigating corporate and public fraud and corruption. Page is planning to speak about asset recovery in complex international cases, with a focus on resources and tools for navigating multi-jurisdictional difficulties.
Page is an authority in litigation support, asset tracing, and anti-money laundering with extensive experience consulting for law firms, financial institutions, and multinational corporations. A former special investigator and senior special agent with the U.S. Customs Service, Page is now at the helm of Andrews International’s C&I division, leading a team of security consultants and investigators who provide specialized security and risk mitigation services.
After the ICC FraudNet Conference, Page and other members of his C&I team are attending the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Conference and Exposition from October 25 to 28 in Orlando, Fla. Page is joined by the C&I division’s Jim Milford, senior vice president, and Don DeLucca, senior consultant. DeLucca, who served as long-time chief of police for Miami Beach, is fourth vice president of IACP.
The 2014 IACP Conference schedule features a lineup of renowned keynote speakers as well as forums and technical workshops on critical safety issues and trends threatening public safety and security interests. With the largest exhibit floor in the law enforcement community and delegates present from local, state, county, tribal, and federal law enforcement agencies, the IACP Conference is a “can’t miss” event for many public safety and security professionals.
Page says that he and his colleagues make key conferences like IACP a priority. “We have an active workload all year around,” Page acknowledges, “but we program time into our schedules for these important fall conferences. Staying informed and involved is critical in our line of work. The time spent is more than worthwhile if we take away best practices and valuable connections that can benefit our clients.”
