Plaza El Segundo Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony Returns November 21st With An Elf On The Shelf Scavenger Hunt, $1000 Raffle Prize and More!
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) November 04, 2014 -- ‘Tis the season’ to officially welcome the holidays back to sunny Southern California, and Plaza El Segundo is inviting its neighbors to come celebrate at their annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on November 21st, 2014 from 5-9pm.
The much anticipated event will host a wide variety of entertainment including the Wondertree Kids, the LA Kings Ice Crew, Strolling Carolers, the Island Breezes steel drum band performing holiday songs, a stilt walker dressed as a live holiday tree, MC Jim McNeib,The Arty Loon show, the Powerhouse Dancers, and the El Segundo Middle and High School Choirs. The choir members will be selling $10 raffle tickets prior to the event, available online at bit.ly/Plazaraffle, for a chance to win a shopping spree to Plaza El Segundo worth $1000 in gift cards. One hundred percent of the raffle’s proceeds will benefit the El Segundo Middle and High School Choirs directly.
In addition to live entertainment, the ceremony will also include a ‘Kids Zone’ at The Edge, encompassing an Elf on the Shelf scavenger hunt, Santa photos inside of SweetXO, balloon animals, glitter tattoos, and strolling costumed characters for meet and greets. Participating stores are offering treats, goody bags, samples, raffles, tastings, and discounts. Complimentary hayrides will also be available to transport guests from The Collection, host of the main stage entertainment and Tree lighting, to The Edge.
