Custom Case Group Launches Medical Device Division
San Dimas, CA (PRWEB) November 05, 2014 -- Today, Custom Case Group announced the formation of a new division designed to serve the needs of customers in the medical industry.
Custom Case Group’s medical device division is a collaboration between Engineered Packaging Solutions (EPS) of San Dimas, Calif., and SCS Cases of Crystal Lake, Ill.
“The medical industry has unique needs when it comes to custom cases,” said Tim Jennings, president of EPS and head of Custom Case Group’s newly formed medical device division. “We formed this division specifically to meet those needs.”
Medical devices are often both fragile and expensive. When these devices need to be transported for mobile medical services, product demonstrations or trade shows, it’s critical that they be properly protected.
Custom Case Group’s medical device division works with leading manufacturers like Pelican-Hardigg, Zarges, Wilson and others to develop reusable cases that offer the ultimate in protection for medical devices.
Both SCS and EPS have a long history of developing custom cases for medical devices. The companies have created cases for surgical instruments, mobile medical devices, diagnostic imaging equipment, mobile sterilization equipment and more. The newly formed medical device division brings together resources from both companies to give medical device manufacturers, health care facilities and health care providers an unmatched resource for creating custom medical device cases.
“It’s not uncommon for medical devices to cost tens, or hundreds, of thousands of dollars,” said Jennings. “Our new division makes it easy to give that equipment the best protection available.”
