Great Lakes Cheese Announces Gary Vanic Retirement as CEO
Hiram, Ohio (PRWEB) November 12, 2014 -- Gary Vanic, CEO of Great Lakes Cheese Co, Inc, announced today that he will retire as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective May 15th, 2015. The Board of Directors has named Dan Zagzebski as Chief Operating Officer, to succeed Gary as CEO upon his retirement.
Gary has served as President and CEO since 1999. Since joining Great Lakes Cheese, Gary has overseen the growth and expansion of the company from a $700 million regional manufacturer and processor of natural and processed cheese to a $3 billion national player in the cheese industry with nine facilities throughout the United States.

Dan is currently Great Lakes Cheese’s Chief Product Officer and has been with the company since 2003. Prior to joining Great Lakes Cheese, Dan co-owned Lemke Cheese and Packaging Company. Lemke was acquired by Great Lakes in 2003.
