Developing Solutions increases dsTest® performance by 480% since last public test
McKinney, TX (PRWEB) November 18, 2014 -- Developing Solutions®, Inc a leader in Diameter and EPC testing, today announced the latest performance benchmark for dsTest, their software-based test solution. The European Advanced Networking Test Center (EANTC) participated in the test to verify the results and publish a public report.
According to Oracle’s LTE Diameter Signaling Index, published in September 2014, the expectation is that global Diameter Signaling rates will increase by more than 75% annually for the next 5 years. The increase is expected based on the roll out of VoLTE and real-time, policy-based traffic management and video services such as LTE Broadcast. "Our intent was to demonstrate that we could test the limits of Policy Controller and Diameter Router at performance levels we expect will be needed in the coming months and years," said Scott Yagel, dsTest Product Manager.
"The results demonstrate to mobile service providers and equipment manufacturers that dsTest is capable of generating 1.2 Million Diameter transactions per second from a single server," commented Carsten Rossenhoevel, Managing Director, EANTC.
