The Florida Association for Women Lawyers Installs Boca Raton Appellate Attorney Robin Bresky as President
Orlando, FL (PRWEB) June 27, 2014 -- The Florida Association for Women Lawyers (FAWL) inducted attorney Robin I. Bresky as the 2014-2015 President at its Annual Awards Gala on June 25, 2014, held at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
Ms. Bresky has held numerous leadership positions in FAWL at the state level and within the Palm Beach County chapter. Ms. Bresky is an appellate lawyer focusing on appeals of family law, probate, guardianship, commercial, personal injury cases and criminal matters throughout Florida, as well as federal appeals. In addition, Ms. Bresky assists other attorneys with complex research, motions, responses, and memoranda of law. When a client seeks to reverse a trial court decision or protect a favorable judgment from reversal, Ms. Bresky will meticulously review the case. Her unwavering attention to detail and “no stone unturned” case analysis are hallmarks of her approach as she strives to achieve a favorable result.
Active in the legal community, Ms. Bresky is the Immediate Past President of the South Palm Beach County Bar Association and has held leadership positions in the National Conference of Women’s Bar Associations, the Palm Beach County Bar Association, and the South Palm Beach County Bar Association. She is on the Board of Directors of the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County. Ms. Bresky has held various appellate leadership positions in The Florida Bar. She is the Chair of the Programs Committee of the Appellate Practice Section of The Florida Bar, and the Chair of the Family Practice Subcommittee of the Appellate Court Rules Standing Committee.
The mission of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers is to actively promote gender equality and leadership roles of FAWL’s members in the legal profession, judiciary, and community at large.
