Contemporary Services Corporation Contracts with Drake University

CSC will provide crowd management and event security services for football and track & field at Drake Stadium and for men's and women's basketball and other sports at Knapp Center. CSC’s services for Drake University are provided under the direction of Brady Randall, Associate Director of Rec. Services, Facilities, and Mike Cigelman, Associate AD, Facilities Director and Director of Rec. Services.
Drake University is home to the annual Drake Relays, which are widely known as one of the most distinguished Track & Field events in the country. Held at Drake Stadium, the Drake Relays host events for all ages ranging from elementary school to the elite invitational and masters divisions. This year’s 105th edition of the Drake Relays presented by Hy-Vee April 23-27 drew a number of well-known athletes including Iowa Native, Lolo Jones.
Drake University’s Associate Director of Rec. Services, Facilities, Brady Randall, stated, “The professionalism, work-ethic, and attention to detail enhanced our event and contributed to making the 105th Relays a huge success. This event would not have been possible without the large staff that CSC was able to provide. I look forward to furthering our relationship and expanding to more areas in our operations.” CSC Des Moines, led by Branch Manager Bob Swanson, also provides services for the Iowa Events Center, Iowa State University, Simpson College, Hy-Vee Triathlon, Urbandale/Valley/Waukee High Schools, Guthrie’s River Ruckus, LAZERfest, and Johnny’s Steakhouse.
