Wrappz – Aims to win 30% share of the UK Personalised Gift Market in 2015

Wrappz, an established online retailer of personalised gifts has recently launched its exciting new eCommerce site to make it even easier for its customers to create their own personalised gifts online. With the new website and the rapidly growing product line, Wrappz is aiming to take 30% of the market share for personalised gifts at the end of year 2015. As explained in a recent statement by Liam Williams, the Creative Director of Wrappz on their official blog, the company has injected another round of funding to rapidly expand in the year 2015 and double the revenue as compared to 2014.

Wrappz was born from of a desire to create better looking devices which could be personalised quickly and easily. This concept was warmly embraced by the general public and the range of products on Wrappz website grew quickly since it's start in 2007 from personalised iPods, phones & games consoles skins to a full range of personalised gifts including pesonalised photo mugs, canvas printing, cushions and much more.

Wrappz Story

From a humble beginning, the Wrappz platform has grown year on year and now boasts a huge range of products which can all be custom designed using its state of the art application. Wrappz still offers the original custom skins but the product range now also includes personalised hard cases, faux leather cases, wall art, mugs, cushions, mouse mats, wash bags and many more besides.

The Wrappz website has gone through many developments over the years. In the last couple of months the company has launched what they believe to be the best site they have ever produced. The new site is easier to use and has many advances in functionality. The site is fully responsive and works just as well on desktops, tablets and phones - no mean feat for a site of this complexity. Improvements include the site’s “Quick Search” functionality which is available on the home page where users can very quickly get straight to the product they are interested in. The site also now features the new account setup and order tracking facilities.

When asked to comment on maintaining total quality management throughout the production cycle, the Production Director, Ben Davies said, “We have always invested heavily in our personnel, systems and technology and this investment in technology can be seen with the launch of the latest version of our designer application which is where our users actually create their wonderful designs. The newest version of the application is the best we have ever built with greater ease of use and some lovely new functionality."

After customers have selected their desired product, they can now choose from several design templates to make the process even simpler. They can choose to design their own from scratch adding as many images as they like and arranging them however they desire. They can then of course add text to their design in a variety of different fonts and colours. They can opt for one of the preset photo collage templates meaning they only have to click on a region within the collage and then upload the required photo - collages include a variety of options like 2 images, 4 images and so on. There are also templates available with messages and sayings where the user can simply insert the relevant name.

As a result of the immense growth in customers using the internet wherever they are, Wrappz have developed the designer application so that it works on all devices including desktops, tablets, laptops and phones.

The Wrappz designer application has proved exceedingly popular within the market place and has now been licensed for use by several large online retailers for the purpose of offering the personalisation of their own products to their customers.

During a recent interview, Creative Director Liam Williams explained “We have always offered artists the opportunity to earn by selling our products featuring their fantastic artworks and we have now taken this to the next level by increasing these payouts significantly. We have also given artists their own admin portal where they can login and design products for sale themselves and also manage their profiles and view revenues. Users of the site can now select for example an iPhone 6 case featuring a stunning piece of art by one of the featured artists and take it into the designer tool where they can add other images and text to the design - complete personalisation.”

The Wrappz team has grown to include 4 offices with 16 staff members. Throughout this growth the companies core values have always been excellent service and superior quality products and these values remain the cornerstone of the business today.

What Next?

In a word the future looks 'exciting' for the relatively young company. Investment in the latest technology and production equipment has always been an integral part of the Wrappz DNA and this is set to continue as a schedule of developments over the next 12 months.
