First Annual Moms Rock! Expo Kicks Off May 2-3, 2015 At Minneapolis Convention Center
Minneapolis, MN (PRWEB) January 08, 2015 -- The “mother” of all expos is coming to Minnesota! The first annual Moms Rock! Expo, dedicated to celebrating and empowering moms, kicks off May 2-3, 2015 at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Featuring a vibrant mix of expert panels and celebrity speakers, the two-day expo will help moms live life easier with expert parenting tips, everyday secrets for success and access to the best resources available for balancing home, work and family.
Today’s moms face challenges like no other generation prior. These are strong moms doing it all: raising a healthy family; having a fulfilling career; taking care of aging parents; fostering relationships; our military moms integrating smoothly into the civilian workforce; and, above all, teaching their sons and daughters the importance of cultivating a better, stronger community.
“It’s mission critical that moms feel like they have the flexibility and quality time needed to raise their children to be productive citizens,” said Sharon Smith-Akinsanya, founder of Moms Rock! Expo. “This event brings attention to the need for all of us to support work-life balance.”
Guest speakers and panelists -- featuring, but not limited to, "The Real" co-host Tamera Mowry-Housley (who just announced her second pregnancy), New York Times best-selling author and "CBS This Morning" contributor Lee Woodruff and creative producer and star of Bravo’s "Jersey Belle" Jaime Primak-Sullivan -- will touch on a variety of topics. Discussions will include blended families, running home businesses, best discipline practices, divorce and death, creating time for nutritious meals and financial security.
